Lucca Comics & Games 2026
Italy's giant comics-and-games festival takes over the walled city of Lucca for five days of tabletop, video games and pop culture.
Lucca Comics & Games returns to the Tuscan city of Lucca from 28 October to 1 November 2026, turning the historic walled centre into one of Europe's biggest celebrations of comics and games. It's a sprawling, city-wide festival where board games, role-playing, card games, video games, fantasy and sci-fi all share the same streets, tents and historic halls. Expect publishers and studios showing off new releases, tournaments and open tables, artists and cosplay everywhere you look, and packed programming from morning to night. For players in the Adriatic region it's a very reachable European trip - a short hop across the border into Italy - and a chance to try games hands-on and meet creators in person. It's a busy, crowded event, so plan tickets and accommodation early; the official site publishes the full programme, exhibitor list and daily passes closer to the date.
