DoT-LAN 2026 (Days of Thunder) - Ried im Innkreis
Austria's revived Days of Thunder LAN party returns to Messe Ried from 18 to 20 September 2026, with 414 seats, tournaments and community challenges.
DoT-LAN - short for Days of Thunder - is one of Austria's traditional LAN parties. It started in Ried im Innkreis in 2000 and, after a long break, was revived in 2024. The 2026 edition, DoT2k26, runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026 in Energie Ried Halle 18 at Messe Ried, Upper Austria, and starts at 15:00 on Friday.
The event is organised by LANBUDDYS Verein für Gamingkultur und E-Sport, a club for gaming culture and esports. The official site lists 414 seats in total, and seats were still available at the time of writing. Over the weekend players can expect tournaments, fun tournaments and community challenges, with catering on site and partner hotels for anyone who would rather not sleep under the desk. Pre-sale tickets cost EUR 66 for individuals, EUR 59 per person for groups of five or more and EUR 49 for LANBUDDYS members. If seats remain, tickets at the door cost EUR 77.
For players from Croatia and Slovenia, Ried in Upper Austria is not a day trip, but DoT-LAN is a solid option for anyone looking for a classic, mid-sized LAN weekend in Central Europe before the autumn convention season.
