Dutch Game Week 2026 (Breda)

Nine days of games in Breda, 14-22 November 2026: an industry conference and the Dutch Game Awards at the Chasse Theater, a free all-ages expo, esports and a League of Legends LAN.

Dutch Game Week turns Breda, the Netherlands, into a games city for nine days, from 14 to 22 November 2026. The festival is powered by Playgrounds together with partners including Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), the Dutch Games Association, B'GAME, Dynasty Esports and the Chasse Theater.

The industry core is the Dutch Game Week Conference on 19 and 20 November at the Chasse Theater, a two-day programme for studios, investors and publishers, with a Business Pass that includes MeetToMatch meeting scheduling. Announced speakers include Joseph Cross, The Line, Rasmus Poulsen of IO Interactive, Nicholas Kole, Playables, Little Chicken, Twirlbound and Blast Zero. The Dutch Game Awards are presented on 19 November.

There is plenty for players too. Playful Explorers on 21 November is a free all-ages expo with new games and retro arcades, the Newman Esports Tournament for schools runs on 14-15 November, and LAN of Legends (13-15 November) is a ticketed three-day League of Legends LAN party. The week also includes a games-inspired film programme, free exhibitions, a serious gaming track and networking drinks.

Many events are free or free to reserve; conference, workshop and LAN tickets are sold separately through the official ticket shop. For developers from Croatia and the region, it is a compact way to meet the Dutch games scene in one of Europe's game-education hubs.
