Expo Gamers 2027 (Opatija)
The Croatian games industry event returns to Opatija on April 9-10, 2027, this time at the Gervais Center, with conference tracks, B2B meetings and an Indie Showroom.
Expo Gamers is a games industry conference and expo on the Croatian coast, and its next edition takes place on April 9-10, 2027 at the Gervais Center in Opatija.
The programme is built around talks, keynotes, panels, fireside chats and workshops across four tracks. Creative covers visual art, concept design, sound and narrative. Indie/Dev deals with programming, mechanics, optimisation and launching a project. Leadership looks at running a studio, investment, publishing and IP protection. The Workshop track offers portfolio reviews, art and music workshops and engine sessions with mentors. There are also face-to-face B2B meetings and an Expo Hall, and up to 20 selected indie teams can show vertical slices, betas or finished games to players, publishers and investors in the Indie Showroom.
The organisers cite 800+ visitors and 30+ international speakers, and say about half of the audience is made up of students, young professionals, artists and fans. No 2027 speakers have been named yet.
Tickets go on sale on November 1, 2026. The official site lists passes from 22 EUR or 30 EUR for students with a valid ID, 45 EUR or 60 EUR for the Regular pass, which also covers fans, and 270 EUR or 360 EUR for Business, VAT included. Early bird pricing ends on January 31, 2027. For players and aspiring developers in Croatia and the region, it is one of the closest places to meet the industry in person.
