Fantastic Gaming Show, known as FGS, returns to Pula on April 16-17, 2027. The festival's official site has confirmed the dates and the city, but has not yet published the venue, the programme or ticket prices for this edition.
The 2026 edition gives an idea of what to expect. It was billed as combining an educational side, with workshops and panels on game development and modern technology, with entertainment such as dance tournaments and cosplay competitions with prizes. Local partners that year included the Fantastic association, the Istrian Polytechnic, ICT Istra and the student association Show Program. It was pitched at a broad audience, from tech enthusiasts to anyone looking for something creative and fun to do.
For players and families in Istria and the northern Adriatic, it is a local festival worth saving the date for. It also falls a week after Expo Gamers in Opatija, so readers planning around one may want to note the other. Check the official site for the venue and tickets as they are announced.
