The world's biggest gaming expo returns to Cologne from 26 to 30 August 2026.
Gamescom is the world's largest gaming expo, and its 2026 edition returns to the Koelnmesse fairgrounds in Cologne, Germany, from 26 to 30 August. August 26 is reserved for trade visitors and media, while the public halls are open from 27 to 30 August. As always, the show is expected to be preceded by the Opening Night Live showcase on the eve of the fair. Across the enormous exhibition halls, publishers and studios present playable demos of upcoming titles, hardware makers show off new gear, and dedicated areas cover retro gaming, indie developers, cosplay, esports and merchandise. For players from Croatia and the wider region, gamescom is the most accessible mega-event of its kind: a direct flight or a long drive away, it is the best chance in Europe to try unreleased games months before launch and to feel the scale of the global industry in one place. Expect big crowds, so plan tickets, travel and accommodation early. Tickets are sold via the official website.
