Gamescom 2027

The world's biggest games fair returns to Koelnmesse in Cologne from 23 to 29 August 2027 - save the dates for next summer's trip.
Gamescom 2027 has its dates locked in: the world's biggest event for computer and video games runs from 23 to 29 August 2027 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The dates were first shown on signage at this year's show and are now confirmed on the official gamescom website.
As in previous years, the week is expected to start with industry-focused days - the developer conference and business programme for trade visitors, publishers and press - before the halls open to the public for the consumer days that run through the weekend. That is when players get hands-on time with upcoming releases, visit publisher and hardware booths, watch esports and creator stages, and join the cosplay and community areas that fill the fairground.
For players in Croatia and the wider Adria region, Cologne is one of the most reachable big-ticket gaming trips in Europe, with direct flights and long-distance rail and bus links. Announcing the dates this early gives plenty of time to plan travel and accommodation, which traditionally sell out fast during gamescom week.
Ticket sales, prices and the detailed programme for 2027 have not been announced yet - we will update this listing once the organisers publish them.
