PLAY! Con 2026 (Trier)
PLAY! Con returns to Messepark Trier on 7-8 November 2026 for its fifth edition - a two-day gaming convention with indie and publisher demos, esports tournaments, stage programme and cosplay.
PLAY! Con, the interactive gaming convention in Trier, celebrates its fifth edition on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026 at Messepark Trier (In den Moselauen 1). Doors are open 10:00-20:00 on Saturday and 11:00-18:00 on Sunday.
The convention is organised by CLAW Events and has grown into one of the larger community gaming events in western Germany - according to trade-fair listings, the previous edition drew around 5,000 visitors and some 120 exhibitors on roughly 4,000 square metres of hall space. Visitors can try new releases and demos from indie studios and publishers, follow the stage programme with live music and talks, and take part in esports tournaments - most tournaments are free to enter and all stage items are included in the ticket. There is also a dedicated area for universities and creative-sector exhibitors, plus a community zone for clubs, initiatives and cosplayers with photo spots in the hall and on the forecourt.
Tickets are sold through the official shop; the cheapest option is a reduced single-day ticket at 12 EUR. Trier sits right on the Luxembourg border, so PLAY! Con is a realistic weekend trip for players from the Benelux, western Germany and eastern France who want a compact, hands-on convention rather than a giant trade fair.
