Playcon 2026 (Malta)

Malta's game development and esports expo returns to the MFCC in Ta' Qali from 19 to 22 November 2026, with free general entry and a B2B summit on 18-19 November.
Playcon, Malta's game development and esports expo, runs its 2026 edition at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta' Qali. The consumer expo is open from 19 to 22 November 2026, and it is preceded by the Playcon Summit, a separate B2B programme for industry professionals on 18 and 19 November.
The organisers announce more than 70 exhibitors, from global brands and hardware makers to indie studios and local esports hubs. The programme lists esports tournaments (with limited spots), cosplay competitions, Symphonic Pixels concerts of orchestral video game music, and meet-and-greets with special guests. The 2025 edition drew more than 25,000 visitors.
General entry to the expo is free. A paid Mythic Pass, starting at 10 euros, adds exclusive Friday evening access, with meet-and-greet perks and merchandise on higher tiers. The Summit requires its own B2B pass.
Note that the event moved from October last year to late November this year. For players from Croatia and the wider region, Playcon is an easy late-autumn reason to combine a Mediterranean trip with a free gaming show, and for indie developers the Summit is a chance to meet the Maltese games industry.
