Central and Eastern Europe's biggest gaming fair marks its 20th edition at MTP Poznań Expo from 23 to 25 October 2026, with playable showcases, esports, an indie zone and cosplay.
Poznań Game Arena returns to the MTP Poznań Expo grounds from 23 to 25 October 2026 for its 20th anniversary edition. PGA bills itself as the largest computer, console and multimedia entertainment fair in Central and Eastern Europe, and it is the closest thing the region has to a gamescom without the trip to Cologne.
The fair is built around playing rather than watching. Expect pre-release and premiere showcases where you can try upcoming titles, a free gaming area with hundreds of stations running current hardware including VR, and an indie zone that in recent years has hosted dozens of small studios showing their games in person. Esports tournaments across titles such as Counter-Strike, League of Legends and FIFA run through the weekend, and the cosplay show remains one of the fair's signature events, finishing with a final where the best costumes take the prizes.
There is a business side too: industry lectures and the Game Industry Conference run alongside the consumer floor, which makes the trip worthwhile if you are studying or working in games. For players from Croatia and the wider Adria region, Poznań is a realistic autumn alternative to the summer conventions - a direct-ish flight and a long weekend.
