Romics 2026 (37th Edition)
Rome's international festival of comics, animation, cinema and games returns to Fiera Roma for four days, 1-4 October 2026.
Romics is Italy's long-running international festival of comics, animation, cinema and games, held twice a year at the Fiera Roma exhibition centre on Via Portuense. The 37th edition is scheduled for 1 to 4 October 2026, following the spring edition held in April.
Romics is a broad pop-culture event rather than a pure games expo: publishers, artists, studios, retailers and fan communities share the halls, and the gaming area sits alongside comics, animation and film programming. Cosplay is one of the festival's biggest draws, and Romics is also known for its Romics d'Oro awards handed to figures from comics and animation.
For players in Croatia and the wider region, Romics is one of the more reachable large autumn conventions: Rome is a short flight from Zagreb, Rijeka or Split, and the four-day run makes a weekend trip realistic.
