The Gathering 2027 (TG27)

Norway's legendary Easter LAN party returns to the Vikingskipet arena in Hamar from 24 to 28 March 2027 - five days of gaming, demoscene, creative competitions and esports under one roof.
The Gathering (TG) is one of the oldest and largest computer parties in the world, held every Easter since 1992 in the Vikingskipet Olympic arena in Hamar, Norway. The 2027 edition, TG27, is scheduled for 24 to 28 March 2027 according to the official site.
TG is a bring-your-own-computer event at its core: thousands of participants set up their PCs on long rows of tables inside the former Olympic speed-skating hall and spend five days and nights gaming, coding, streaming and hanging out. Around that, the organisers run creative competitions (the demoscene, graphics, music and game-development compos TG is famous for), esports tournaments, talks and stage shows.
It is mainly aimed at teenagers and young adults, but TG has a long history of welcoming families and first-timers too, and the atmosphere is far more festival than tournament. For players from Croatia and the wider region it is a long trip, but TG is a bucket-list LAN - the kind of event that shaped the European LAN scene long before esports arenas existed.
Ticket sales for TG27 had not opened at the time of writing; past editions sold tickets through the Geekevents shop linked from tg.no. Check the official site for the ticket release date, the programme and travel information for Hamar, which is about 1.5 hours by train north of Oslo.
