Bulgaria's biggest pop-culture and gaming convention returns to the Inter Expo Center in Sofia on 10 and 11 July 2027, with two-day passes already on sale.
Aniventure Comic Con is Bulgaria's largest pop-culture and gaming convention, and the 2027 edition is set for the weekend of 10 and 11 July at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia. Tickets, including two-day passes, are already on sale through the organiser's official ticketing partner.
The convention pairs a large exhibition floor with a gaming programme that in recent editions has covered titles such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends and Rocket League, alongside free-play zones, tabletop and retro corners, an artist alley, comics and merch stalls, and a cosplay competition that ranks among the biggest in Southeast Europe. Guest programming has previously brought international esports and pop-culture names to Sofia for panels and meet-and-greets. The 2027 line-up has not been announced yet.
For players from Croatia and the wider Adria region, Sofia is a manageable weekend trip, and Aniventure is one of the few conventions in Southeast Europe where gaming is a headline act rather than a side room. The Inter Expo Center sits on Tsarigradsko shose in southeastern Sofia and has its own metro stop, so getting there without a car is straightforward. The full 2027 programme, guest list and tournament schedule will be published closer to the date.
