PGL Cluj-Napoca 2027
PGL returns to Transylvania for a Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event from 11 to 21 February 2027, with the playoff weekend at BTarena in Cluj-Napoca.
PGL brings top-tier Counter-Strike 2 back to Romania. PGL Cluj-Napoca 2027 runs from 11 to 21 February 2027 and closes with the playoff weekend at BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on 19-21 February.
Sixteen teams take part. Fourteen of them are invited through Valve's regional standings, while the last two slots are decided in European qualifiers held back in November 2026 - an open qualifier in the first half of the month and a closed qualifier from 15 to 18 November.
This is the third year in a row that PGL stages a top-level CS2 tournament in Cluj-Napoca, and the venue carries some history: BTarena is the same hall that hosted the 2015 Cluj-Napoca Major, one of the events older Counter-Strike fans still bring up.
For players in Croatia and the wider region it is one of the more reachable Tier 1 CS2 events on the calendar - Cluj is a short flight or a manageable drive from Zagreb, Ljubljana or Belgrade - and its February slot makes it one of the first big arena stops of the 2027 season. Ticket sales and the detailed match schedule are published by PGL on its official site.
