Game Dev Rev 2026 (Skopje)
Game Dev Revolution, North Macedonia's national game development conference, takes place on 15 October 2026 at the Macedonian National Theatre in Skopje with two tracks of talks, workshops and an indie expo.
Game Dev Rev - short for Game Dev Revolution (GDR) - is the national conference in North Macedonia dedicated entirely to game development. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 15 October at the Macedonian National Theatre (MNT) in the centre of Skopje, following the debut edition held at the same venue in October 2025.
The conference is organised by the Macedonian Games Industry association (MGI) together with Indium Play and Sindex. It is aimed at developers, artists, designers, audio engineers, educators, students and anyone curious about how games get made, with the stated goal of celebrating and growing the local and regional gamedev scene.
According to the official site, the programme is split into two tracks - Ecosystem and Production - with talks and workshops running on two stages. Alongside the sessions there is an Indie Expo where developers show their projects, plus fireside chats, company presentations and dedicated time for networking. The speaker list for 2026 had not been published at the time of writing, so check the official page for the line-up as it is announced.
For developers and students from Croatia and the Adria region, Game Dev Rev is a compact, one-day opportunity to meet studios and indie teams from the southern Balkans, a scene that rarely gets its own stage. Skopje is reachable by direct flights and by road from most regional capitals. Tickets are available through the official website; pricing was not listed on the page at the time of writing.
