Gameathlon 2026
Greece's biggest gaming festival runs 11-13 September 2026 at the Tae Kwon Do Olympic Arena in Athens, with esports tournaments, cosplay, a LAN party and publisher booths.
Gameathlon 2026 takes over the Tae Kwon Do Olympic Arena (Faliro Sports Pavilion) in Athens from 11 to 13 September 2026, opening Friday at 17:00 and running 10:00-22:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Greece's largest gaming festival packs in tournaments across League of Legends, Valorant and Street Fighter 6, tabletop competitions in Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, and mobile gaming challenges with prize pools in the thousands of euros. A World's Edge sponsored Age of Mythology: Retold tournament with a 10,000 dollar prize pool gives the strategy scene a rare offline stage. Beyond the competitive side there is a cosplay competition and parade on a 360-degree stage, an Artist and Cosplay Alley, a LAN party area, booths from Nintendo, PlayStation and Samsung, plus the Hellenic Game Awards 2026 and the Hellenic Legends League finals. For visitors from the Adria region it is the standout gaming weekend in southeastern Europe this September.
