PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 is a Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament organised by PGL in Bucharest, Romania, running from 24 to 31 October 2026. The Main Event is played on LAN in a studio setting.
The event was originally planned for Belgrade, but PGL moved it to its home city of Bucharest. Sixteen teams compete: 9z Globant, Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, DENDELE, FURIA, FUT Esports, G2 Esports, Legacy, Team Liquid, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, Nemiga, Team Spirit, The MongolZ, TYLOO and Team Vitality. Most of them were invited through the Valve Regional Standings and the rest came through regional qualifiers.
The format starts with a 16-team Swiss stage of best-of-three matches. The top eight teams then play a single-elimination playoff bracket, and the grand final on 31 October is a best-of-five. The total prize pool is $1,250,000, split equally between prize money and club rewards. The winner takes $225,000 in prize money plus a $225,000 club reward, $450,000 combined.
FUT Esports, who are in this field, won the last PGL event in Bucharest in April 2026, beating Astralis 3-1 in the final. For CS2 fans in Croatia and across Europe, this is one of the last big European LANs of the autumn.
