Pokémon Special Event Bologna 2027
Play! Pokémon Special Event in Bologna, Italy, on 5-6 June 2027 - VGC, Trading Card Game and Pokémon GO competition in the 2027 Championship Series.
Bologna hosts a Play! Pokémon Special Event on 5 and 6 June 2027 as part of the 2027 Pokémon Championship Series. The event covers all three competitive games: the Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC), the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon GO, with Championship Points on offer for players chasing a World Championships invitation.
Bologna is a regular stop on the European circuit - previous Special Events in the city were held in early June at BolognaFiere - and this one comes two weeks after the Utrecht Regional, late in the European season. The 2027 event is listed at BolognaFiere (the 2024 and 2025 editions used Pavilion 20); registration is not open yet.
For players in Croatia and the Adria region, Bologna is one of the closest Pokémon championship stops: a drive of about five hours from Zagreb or Rijeka, or a short flight. It is a good target for anyone who wants a competitive Pokémon event without travelling to Northern Europe.
