Pyrkon 2027 (Poznań)
Poland's largest fantasy and gaming festival returns to the Poznań International Fair on 18-20 June 2027, with a Gaming Zone, RPG and board-game zones, cosplay, concerts and international guests.
Pyrkon is the biggest fantasy festival in Poland and one of the largest fan conventions in Central Europe. The 2027 edition takes place from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June 2027 at the Poznań International Fair (Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie), the same fairgrounds that host the Poznań Game Arena.
The festival is organised by the fan association Stowarzyszenie Klub Fantastyki "Druga Era" and covers everything from books, comics and film to video games, role-playing games, board games, wargames and card games. Dedicated zones include a Gaming Zone, an RPG zone and a Board Games, Wargames and Card Games zone, alongside lectures, panels, exhibitions, game tournaments, cosplay shows, workshops, themed villages and concerts.
The organisers have announced the first guests for 2027: Scottish actor Graham McTavish (The Hobbit, The Witcher, Outlander), American horror author Grady Hendrix and the Belgian folk band Laïs. More names are expected closer to the date.
Tickets are sold as a three-day pass (around 347 PLN including the service fee, with a cheaper kids' pass for ages 6-12) and are capped at 10,000, so they tend to sell out early. For players from Croatia and the wider region, Pyrkon is a well-established, friendly con with a strong tabletop and video-game programme, and Poznań is reachable by direct flights or a long train ride via Vienna or Prague.
