SAGA Barcelona Game Fest 2026
Barcelona's new flagship gaming festival debuts at Fira de Barcelona Montjuic from 9 to 11 October 2026, merging BCN Game Fest, RetroBarcelona and the SAGA Salo del Gaming into one big event.
SAGA Barcelona Game Fest is the new umbrella event for gaming in Barcelona, created by the teams behind BCN Game Fest, RetroBarcelona and the SAGA Salo del Gaming. The first edition runs from 9 to 11 October 2026 at Fira de Barcelona Montjuic, spreading across roughly 14,000 square metres, with organisers expecting more than 20,000 visitors.
Friday 9 October is aimed primarily at industry professionals, with B2B meetings, talks and networking built around the MeetToMatch platform, while Saturday and Sunday open up to the general public. The programme covers game demos and premieres, esports competitions, free play zones, a large retro gaming area, workshops, cosplay and family-friendly activities, plus an exhibition floor with hundreds of companies and projects from the Spanish and international scene.
For players from Croatia and the wider region, it is a chance to combine a city break in Barcelona with one of southern Europe's biggest new gaming events - and for developers, the B2B day makes it a working trip too.
