FIDA 2027 - Festival of Interactive and Digital Arts (Zagreb)
Zagreb hosts FIDA from 3 to 6 June 2027: two conference days with 25+ talks, panels and live demos, followed by two days of hands-on game development workshops.
FIDA - Festival of Interactive and Digital Arts - comes to Zagreb from 3 to 6 June 2027. It is a four-day event dedicated to the craft of making video games, built by the people behind the Zagreb Game Dev Meetups and the IFCC art conference.
The festival is split into two parts. The conference phase on 3 and 4 June runs two parallel tracks with more than 25 talks, panels and live demos, plus a video game art exhibition with a charity auction, game showcases and portfolio review sessions. The workshop phase on 5 and 6 June offers four professional workshops covering different game development disciplines, each lasting between 4 and 16 hours; the organisers provide the hardware and software and lunch is included.
FIDA is aimed at game developers, artists, students and anyone working in or trying to break into the games industry. For players and creators from Croatia and the wider Adria region it is a rare chance to learn from international speakers and get portfolio feedback without travelling abroad.
Separate conference and workshop tickets, as well as combined packages, are planned. Ticket prices, the speaker line-up and the exact workshop topics had not been announced at the time of writing - check the official site for updates.
